April should provide a beautiful setting for ladies from around the region to come and enjoy the Island and the Ranch. It is a wonderful time of change with spring birds starting to arrive, geese starting to hatch, a fawn or two being born, grass and early flowers making a show and the ice breaking up. After this year’s long winter we are ready to have our hearts and souls revived by a study of God’s Word, devotions, music and much more. This year’s retreat leader is Jan Wilke. The Theme will be “Laced with Grace”. Running life's race can be exhilarating and daunting at the same time.
Delving deep into Hebrews 12:1-2, we'll unlock four very specific keys for owning the race God has set out for us. Jane Wilke has served in a variety of ministry roles over the years. She was an early childhood educator for 20 years, first at King of Kings Lutheran School in Roseville, MN, followed by Christ Community Lutheran School in St. Louis, MO.From there she transitioned into various leadership roles, which included Editor for Children’s and Family Ministry at Concordia Publishing House, Creative Director for Lutheran Hour Ministries, and Communications Administrator for Lutheran Senior Services, all in St. Louis. Jane has also written curriculum for CPH and devotions for Creative Communications for the Parish. She and LeRoy decided to retire in Minnesota and Jane currently serves part-time as Director of Church Relations for Concordia St. Paul. She loves sharing learned insight through inspirational speaking and writing, as well as traveling, pursuing healthy living, and looking forward to what God has in mind around the next corner.

Our Women’s Retreats are a great value for individuals or groups. Please consider  encouraging other women to join you this year. See you in April!
