Leadership Camps

Christ Serve^SM Training Camp:

Christ Serve Leadership Training provides youth with a unique opportunity to be trained in leadership skills , then put those skills into practice. Young people who would like to someday be on staff at Lutheran Island Camp should attend this program. We seek to identify, inspire, develop, and train young leaders for life-long service in the church and in their communities.

Dates: October 14-18 (7:00 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday at Noon) or December 27-30 (3:00 pm Sunday through Wednesday at Noon). June 10-15 (3:00 p.m. Thursday through Tuesday at Noon)
Ages: 14 and older

Rate: $150 (the cost of the camp is underwritten by donors to Lutheran Island Camp)
Deposit Amount: $75

Teen Servant Weekend:

This weekend is for teens who are or want to be servant leaders at camp in the coming summer or who just want to get together with other servant leaders. Included should be Junior Counselors, Christ Serve team members, Youth Involvement team members, and those who would like to volunteer at camp this next summer. Those attending will help us redesign our JC program and will help plan for youth involvement in the upcoming capital campaign. Dates: December 4-6. Cost: $35 Click here for registration form.

Dates set for Junior counselor training:

J.C. Training is set for Friday, June 11-12 (4-5:00 registration/Supper at 5:00 P.M.). Training ends on Saturday June 12 (Supper 5:00-5:30). Christ Serve Leadership Training participants will be able to participate in J.C. Training. See requirements for participation. Fee is $55, Click here for information, dates, and requirements.
