Responding to Evolution Is it a challenge or an opportunity? A recent Barna study shows that as many as 85% of our youth will lose their faith as a result of the challenges they face in high school and college. Only about 40% of the population of the United States believes that God created the world. Many people who consider themselves to be Christians reject the first article of the Apostles creed.  How do we has Christians respond to those with whom we want to share Christ when they ask us or challenge us with questions about our Creator God? Brian Young’s intent is not to prove the Bible correct, but rather to use the Bible as our ultimate resource in responding to those who question us about evolution.Participants will learn that God, creator of all things, is the creator of science, wisdom and our ability to accumulate knowledge. Brian will share the science behind the six days of creation. He will lead participants through a series of questions they are likely to encounter and the answers that work well. He will teach how our ability to share Christ is actually enhanced when people question us about evolution.Who should attend?If you want to share Jesus with someone, you should attend.  In particular we want to encourage  evangelism committees, elders, pastors, Sunday school teachers,  youth leaders, and teens to attend.
