Trailblazer Weekend is a chance to learn camping skills on the Island as you surround yourself in nature. During the day you'll enjoy outdoor cooking, canoeing/kayaking, archery and hiking, plus evening programs, Bible study and more. Your choice of sleeping quarters: Tents or Tree Houses.

Trailblazer Weekend 2 July 17-19 (weekend)

Tenderfoot Horse Camp: This is one of the best experiences that you can have at camp! Learn how to ride, groom, and feed a horse. By the end of the week, you'll be able to saddle your own horse; take it out on a nice trail ride, and perhaps do a few games on horseback. You'll wish the week would never end! Our Rustic week will provide a camping experience for the participants that will rival the wild west.

Our horseback riding camps often fill early. To avoid being disappointed, we suggest that you register as soon as possible.

Trailblazer Fishing Camp

This 5-day event is for youth 8-11 who want to do some fishing, but also want to have the fun of camp. We provide a rod, reel, and some tackle for you to take home. We'll use our boats and pontoon to fish East Battle Lake, one of the premier lakes in the state. There will be shore fishing, trolling, still fishing, and night fishing (not too late).

We have to limit the number of campers based on boat availability so sign up early for this one.

Trailblazer Splash Camp:

There is nothing like being at Splash Camp on a hot summer day! We offer 8-11 year old campers lots of summer water fun, including plenty of time at the beach, a giant slippery slide, kayaking, canoeing, water volleyball and basketball, singing around the campfire and great evening activities.

Who is your favorite Basketball Hero? Whoever he or she is, they've worked long and hard to get where they are. God blesses us each with talents and abilities that are ready to be developed. Our basketball camps provide the right mix of fun, practice, competition, and learning about the game.

Trailblazer Young Scientist

This program is part of our Creation-Science Environmental Learning Center. Brian Young of Creation Instruction Association will lead youth in a five-day long program based on Genesis 1 creation. Each day of the week will represent a day in the six-day creation. You can download a brochure about this program by clicking here.

Young Scientist 1 - June 7-12 (Sunday to Friday)

Young Scientist 2 - June 14-19 (Sunday to Friday)

Rates: $325.00. For groups of 10 or more, an adult can come free of charge.

Trailblazer Classic Camp

This is the way camp has been for three generations and we've set aside two of the best weeks of the summer for them. It is based on kids having lots of fun doing many different activities. The list of things to do includes: archery, basketball, softball, disc golf, swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, volleyball, and more. Classic Camps include a great Bible Study on God's Secret Agents, sing-a-longs, devotions, cookouts, skit night, canteen, and crafts. An added bonus may be a trip to Christ Serve Ranch for a horseback ride.

Parents, if you have children who are 12-14, try out our Voyageur Classic Camp going on the same weeks.

Trailblazer Quest Camp

Our Quest Camp is an amazing adventure for 8-11 year olds wanting to stretch their idea of camp. Optional housing will be in tree houses or tents. Cooking will sometimes be done over an open fire. Escapades will include hikes through the forest, minnow catching, watching for wildlife including deer, beaver, and birds; scavenger hunts, orienteering, kayaking, and more. Bible study will look at adventures that God's Secret Agents had.

Dates: June 14-17 (Sunday through Wednesday noon)
