This event will provide moms and their daughters with time for them to reflect on their relationships, their faith, and their futures. This provides a great opportunity to reacquaint with daughters who have moved away or to spend quality time with daughters who are still at home. Watch for more information coming early in 2012.
Dates: May 10-11.
Cost: $90 for mom and one daughter; additional daughters $55

Our horseback camps are designed to provide fun, energy, inspiration, and a sense of the power of our creator God. Trails are available for riders of various experiences, but we also want to challenge you to depend on your horse and your own abilities. Camping out overnight provides a wonderful atmosphere as you drift off to sleep listening to nature and horses whinnying in the distance. You’ll enjoy the cookout meals prepared by our wrangler and will experience God’s creation in a way few are able to in this day and age. Individuals and families (children should be 12 and older with riding experience) are invited to participate. This is a great adventure for young adults and those who still feel young. Ages:12 and older Dates: August 18-23.

Boys of any age want Dad to tag along to camp! It’s a guys’ weekend away for quality time in Bible study and the great outdoors. This would make a great Father’s Day gift for Dads (and sons)! Great Fishing too.

Your little lambs get to spend the whole weekend with Mom or Dad (or a grandparent, aunt or uncle) enjoying the Island and time with a special person in their lives. Campers who are not quite ready for a whole week away from home will love our Sheep Camp. Mom, Dad (or Grandma/Grandpa) accompanies the “sheep” for this Friday evening to Sunday morning camp. The basic rate includes one adult and one child. (If your child would prefer to come to camp without an adult, check out our Discovery Camp Weekends). Enjoy the gift of family amid the beauty of the Island. You may participate in age-appropriate and combined Bible studies and camp activities, or simply spend time together. For families who want a short, less-expensive vacation, these weekends at camp are ideal! Events include Memorial Day weekend, 60th Anniversary Celebration, a Creation weekend, 4th of July weekend, several summer weekends and Labor Day weekend.

Spend a week with your family and let us do the cooking, babysitting, and devotions. Our family weeks are all inclusive. Special events include talent show, tournaments, a fishing contest, crafts and much more. Leave the cooking and dishwashing to our staff while you make the most of quality time with your family! Please note that weeks #1, 2, 5 and 6 are at discounted rates. Lutheran Island Camp programming will be limited to Bible study and devotions in the weeks 1, 2, and 6.

Mother and Daughter Horse Camp
The horses will be fresh and ready for adult and experienced riders. Cost includes two nights, 5 meals, and hours of great riding.

We’ve been asked for years to set up a program for Grandparents to come to camp for a weekend with their children 8 and older. Now you have it! You’ll arrive Friday afternoon and spend a fun-filled weekend with your grandchild. We’ll build the event around the participants.

Adult Servants Construction projects
Bring a crew of people to help us lay out several construction projects that will be done in the summer of 2013. Projects may include (subject to skills and funds available) construction of log cabins, building observation towers, building a tack room and stable, building a ropes course, constructing a climbing wall, plus others.

Rent one of our cabins for your own retreat. You can cook your own meals or participate in a meal plan. We have the Retreat House, Log Cabin, and our new Ranch Cottage. Call us for rates and availability.
