Online Bidding Instructions
Welcome to the 2019 Annual Quilt Auction. The following information will help you in bidding for Quilts.
The On-line Auction will stop at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 31, 2018. Any quilt that has not reached its minimum bid at that time will be available at the Auction on Saturday, August 4th.
To bid, use the link which will send an e-mail to us. The initial bid email must include: Name, address, phone number, the quilt”s web number and the bid you wish to make. Additional bids will not require the contact information. Tuesday evening we will let you know if you have won the bid. At that time you will need to let us know how you intend to pay. If there are multiple bids that arrive on Tuesday, we may extend the auction on that particular quilt.
Bids must be in increments of $10. They may start as low as $10 however, if the minimum is not met, the quilt will be auctioned at the Saturday, August 4th auction. The final online bid will be the starting bid on Saturday. The final bid on Saturday will be the purchase price even if it does not hit the online minimum.
No quilts purchased online will be released until Saturday, August 4th. They may be picked up at camp at that time or we will mail them to you for an additional fee of $10 which will cover shipping and handling.
Quilts may be paid for by cash, check, or credit card. Please do not e-mail credit card information. Arrangements for payment must be made by Wednesday at 12:00 noon. If they are not made, the quilt will be auctioned off on Saturday. You may call or e-mail us to make those arrangements. 218-583-2905 or email@example.com
You may provide via e-mail a maximum price that you are willing to pay for a particular quilt. As other bids come in, your bid will be raised until the maximum is it. We will let you know if the bid exceeds your maximum.
We are not using an automated system so do not expect that your bid will immediately show up on the website.
All Quilts are represented by a description provided by the donor. Our volunteers try very hard to confirm the description.
